IacuWise ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our AI Prompt Optimizer service at iacuwise.com.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture through Google Sign-In or email authentication. This information is used solely for account management and authentication.
When you use our optimizer, we store your original prompt, the optimized version, the selected AI model, optimization level, token counts, and calculated environmental impact metrics (water, energy, CO₂ savings). This data is used to provide the service and improve our optimization algorithms.
We track the number of optimizations per user to manage free and paid tier limits. We also collect anonymous analytics data (page views, visitor count, referral source) through Vercel Analytics to understand how our service is used.
If you use IacuWise without an account (free trial), your optimization is stored with an anonymous identifier. No personal information is collected for guest usage.
We use your information to: provide and maintain our prompt optimization service; track your usage within free or paid tier limits; calculate and display environmental impact metrics; improve our service and optimization quality; communicate with you about your account or service updates.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with row-level security policies. Authentication is handled through NextAuth.js with OAuth 2.0 (Google) and email magic links via Resend. Our application is hosted on Vercel with HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
Your prompts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for optimization. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data. We do not share any personal account information with Anthropic — only the prompt text.
If you sign in with Google, Google's privacy policy governs the authentication process. We only receive your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture).
We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous, privacy-friendly website analytics. No cookies are used, and no personal data is collected by the analytics service.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
Your account data and optimization history are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Guest optimization data is retained for analytics purposes but contains no personal information.
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent for data processing; export your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
IacuWise uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We use localStorage to track guest trial usage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
IacuWise is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
